Information on Pro-Active C

The webbing clothes moth can be found throughout the UK and are a common problem some people may be unaware of. They will infest natural material and usually the expensive stuff.

Our best product is Pro-Active C which can be sprayed onto wardrobes and drawers. If using it in this was you should remove all of the clothes within and then spray as much of the wardrobe or drawers with a light covering and then wait for it to dry. Once the product is dry it is perfectly safe to put the clothes back in. We suggest that you re-treat in the same way 30 days later as the product will break down soon after and the eggs can outlive 30 days. You can also use Pro-Active C to spray carpets as clothes moth have been known to attack natural carpets.

If you think that your clothes need to be treated as well there are a few things that you can do. We do NOT suggest you use Pro-Active C to spray directly onto your clothes.

-You can freeze the clothes if you have the means to do so. It is best to put them into a sealable plastic bag and freeze for no less than 72 hours.
-You can wash them on as higher heat possible (40+).
-You can have them dry cleaned.
