These small moth traps have proven to be exceptionally effective and will catch other moth species too, but we only guarantee effect against the Webbing Clothes Moth. Trap size is approximately 4 inches x 2 inches. There are some larger traps on the market but we feel the small unit size and low cost per trap allows a more versatile placement programme.
Please note that generally, pheromone traps only attract and catch the male moth and you may require an insecticidal application to eradicate female moth and moth larvae.
These are for the Webbing Clothes Moth not the Case Bearing Clothes Moth, the latter identifiable by the presence of small rice like cases around the areas of activity (these traps are not for this moth).

You are most likely to find the Webbing Clothes Moth in wardrobes and dressers.
Once placed the traps last around 8-10 weeks before the attractant expires but will store up to one year prior to use. We would also suggest using this in conjunction with our moth killer spray, Pro-Active C.

Information on Clothes Moth Pheromone Traps

Clothes moth pheromone traps contain a slow release matrix that is contained within the glue so there is no need to use separate attractant tablets with this product.

Place the sticky pad either within a Demi Diamond Holder (Info Below) or just stick them up using blue tack or any other means. Try not to let them come directly in contact with any clothes as the glue is very strong. The best places for these traps are wardrobes and drawers. These traps will only catch the male so they should be used in conjunction with an insecticide like Pro-Active C. These traps are very popular and work very well on monitoring a problem. The traps will need to be replaced every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain effectiveness but in dusty areas may need to be replaced sooner.

Information on Demi Diamond Pad Holders

These pad holders come in handy when using the Clothes Moth Pheromone traps close to clothes as they stop the pads coming in contact with the clothes. To put the holder together follow these instructions.

- Lay flat and lift the triangle so its at a right angle to the rest of the holder.
- Lift the side of the trap with the extra tab to make part of the triangle.
- Lift the other side of the trap forming a complete triangle
- The side of with the tab then folds over and locks into two holes.
- Once this is done you can then slide a sticky pad into the holder.
