Pro-Active C is a very wide spectrum crawling and flying insect killer and we have sold the active ingredient for over 12 years through Pest Control Direct with excellent results.

Based on Cypermethrin 0.1%, this water based product is of very low odour, has no solvent side effects, and is very effective against virtually all types of moth including the webbing clothes moth. This Moth Killer Spray is one of the most popular in the market today.

Apply to any surface that would not be damaged by water. You can spray inside wardrobes, skirting boards,carpets and soft furnishings that are colour fast, even into the air as it will quickly knock down moth in flight.
This product is not considered suitable for application to clothing, Some of our customers do apply to clothes without issue but we would warn that if this is applied to clothes, they MUST be washed prior to wear as allergic reaction may occur. The product label indicates that you should not apply this product to clothing.

The chemical has excellent residual qualities combined with a good knockdown effect.
Apply at one litre per 20 square metres for best results.

This product can be safely used where there are children or pets. Just ensure that they are not in the treatment area at the time of treatment, and are not permitted into the treated area until surfaces are dry (usually around 3 hours)

We suggest you also order a Face Mask (EN149) if you will be spraying above waist height or suffer from asthma

Information on Pro-Active C

The webbing clothes moth can be found throughout the UK and are a common problem some people may be unaware of. They will infest natural material and usually the expensive stuff.

Our best product is Pro-Active C which can be sprayed onto wardrobes and drawers. If using it in this was you should remove all of the clothes within and then spray as much of the wardrobe or drawers with a light covering and then wait for it to dry. Once the product is dry it is perfectly safe to put the clothes back in. We suggest that you re-treat in the same way 30 days later as the product will break down soon after and the eggs can outlive 30 days. You can also use Pro-Active C to spray carpets as clothes moth have been known to attack natural carpets.

If you think that your clothes need to be treated as well there are a few things that you can do. We do NOT suggest you use Pro-Active C to spray directly onto your clothes.

-You can freeze the clothes if you have the means to do so. It is best to put them into a sealable plastic bag and freeze for no less than 72 hours.
-You can wash them on as higher heat possible (40+).
-You can have them dry cleaned.
